Housing a crew for a Twin Falls job, one week to 30 days
Twelve properties, three room types, a one-week minimum and a 30-day limit on every reservation. Here is the arithmetic for housing a crew, or one travelling worker, near a Twin Falls job by the week.
What a week costs, room by room
A single room is $250 a week, which comes to $35.71 a day, paid weekly. A double, with two Queen beds, is $275 a week, or $39.29 a day. A studio with a full kitchen and one Queen bed is $325 a week, or $46.43 a day. Each daily figure is the week divided by 7. All rates are before 8% tax: 6% Idaho sales tax plus the 2% Travel and Convention tax.
A single can also be booked as one stay of up to 30 days for a flat $1,000. That is $33.33 a day if the worker uses all 30 days, and more per day on a shorter stay. Four weeks at the weekly rate also comes to $1,000, so the flat price covers two more days for the same money. Only the single has a flat price, and no reservation of any room type runs past 30 days, so size the booking to the job inside that limit.
The shortest stay is one week (7 nights). A crew on a three or four day job still books the full week, because New Leaf rents by the week. New Leaf puts it this way: “Nightly stays are temporarily paused so we can make room for guests staying a week or longer, up to 30 days.”
New Leaf Properties has rented rooms in Twin Falls since 2005 and regularly houses construction crews. No crew price is published, because the number of rooms and the number of weeks set it.
How many rooms a crew needs
The double is the room to count first when you size a crew: two Queen beds, a published maximum of four guests and $275 a week. When two workers share one, each gets a bed for $137.50 a week, or $19.64 a day per worker, paid weekly. That is a little over half the $35.71 a day a single costs one person. A single, with one Queen bed, fits the foreman or anyone who needs a room alone.
Eight of the twelve properties rent doubles: Apollo Motor Inn, Monterey Motor Inn, Park Motel, El Rancho Motel and Dunes Motel on Addison Avenue West; Old Towne Lodge and Downtown Extended Stay near Main Avenue; and Kimberly Road Extended Stay. What is open changes daily. tfrooms.com/vacancy.html shows the VACANCY or NO VACANCY sign that the front desk sets by hand at each property. It is a sign, not a room count, and it covers the current day only, so ask the office about a later start date.

The five Addison Avenue West properties sit on one stretch of the street. Apollo Motor Inn and Dunes Motel, at the two ends, are about 320 metres apart, so a crew too big for one property can split across two or three and still walk between rooms. The per-worker column divides the weekly total by the number of workers and by 7. The totals are published rates before tax, and a crew quote from the office replaces them.
Kitchens, laundry and what a studio adds
Nine of the twelve properties rent a studio with a full kitchen, at $325 a week, or $46.43 a day paid weekly, against $35.71 a day for a single. Over a four-week job the difference is $300, which is the number to hold against four weeks of eating out.
Three properties rent studios only: Deluxe Motor Lodge, Jones Motel and 760 Main Ave Extended Stay, all in the downtown and Main Avenue group. Six more rent studios alongside singles and doubles, which lets a crew mix kitchens and shared rooms at one address: Monterey Motor Inn, Park Motel, Dunes Motel, Old Towne Lodge, Downtown Extended Stay and Kimberly Road Extended Stay.
Apollo Motor Inn, El Rancho Motel and Twin Falls Motel have no laundry, and none of the three rents studios. If the crew will be washing work clothes through the job, ask the office about laundry at the property you are offered before you commit to it.
Parking and the drive to the job
All twelve properties include parking in the rate, along with utilities and Wi-Fi. If the crew is bringing a trailer, an equipment rig or more than one vehicle per room, say so when you call, before rooms are assigned. That is also the moment to ask whether the lot is at ground level and how close to the room you can park.
The booking site, tfrooms.com, publishes routed driving times from eleven of the twelve properties to Chobani on Kimberly Road and to Amalgamated Sugar on Orchard Drive East. In that table, read on 23 September 2026, Twin Falls Motel has the shortest drive: 1.8 miles and 4 minutes to Chobani, 1.4 miles and 3 minutes to Amalgamated Sugar. Kimberly Road Extended Stay comes next at 2.2 miles and 1.8 miles.
The five downtown properties run 2.9 to 4.1 miles to Chobani, 6 to 8 minutes, and 2.6 to 3.7 miles to Amalgamated Sugar. The Addison Avenue West properties in the table run 4.4 to 4.6 miles to Chobani, about 9 minutes. Twin Falls Motel rents singles only, so a crew that wants doubles or kitchens near Chobani is looking at Kimberly Road Extended Stay.
Paying, deposits and pets
The office takes payment one week in advance, in cash, by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover, or by money order. Nobody on the crew signs a lease, goes through a credit check or pays an application fee. If one company is paying for several rooms, ask how the office handles a single payer before the first week starts.
One week’s rent is the deposit on newly renovated rooms, and some rooms have no deposit at all. Call and confirm for the specific rooms you are offered. If three doubles all carried one, that would add $825 to what you pay up front, which is worth knowing before the crew arrives.
All twelve properties accept pets with a refundable deposit and no pet fee, which covers the worker who travels with a dog. Service animals are welcome everywhere, with no deposit and no fee. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM at every property.
How to book rooms for a crew
Each of the twelve properties takes reservations on its own site at /reserve.html, and tfrooms.com/locations.html lists all twelve; for Kimberly Road Extended Stay the page is kimberlytf.com/reserve.html. You can also book at tfrooms.com/contact or by phone. Nothing is charged online. This site, twinfallsroomsforrent.com, takes no bookings itself, but its chat button sends a message to the office.
The office line is (208) 733-2010. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM, Twin Falls time, and the office is closed Sunday. After hours the line forwards to an on-call operator, so a crew arriving late still reaches someone.
Have five details ready when you call for a crew quote: how many workers, how many weeks between the one-week minimum and the 30-day limit, the start date, what vehicles and trailers are coming, and whether anyone needs a kitchen or is bringing a pet. With those, the office can tell you what is open, at which properties, and what it will cost.
