The five Addison Avenue West properties are the nearest of the twelve to St Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in a straight line, each 1.9 miles: Dunes Motel, Monterey Motor Inn, Park Motel, El Rancho Motel and Apollo Motor Inn. Deluxe Motor Lodge and Jones Motel follow at 2.2 miles. The two on Kimberly Road sit farthest out of the twelve, at 3.7 and 4.0 miles in a straight line.

Apollo Motor Inn, 296 Addison Ave W, has the quickest drive of the twelve: 6 minutes over 2.9 road miles. Deluxe Motor Lodge on Main Avenue West has the fewest road miles of the twelve, 2.8, at 7 minutes. All twelve sit 6 to 10 minutes from the hospital by car.

Canyon Springs Extended Stay, Blue Lakes Inn, Motel 6 and SureStay are on Blue Lakes Boulevard North, on the same side of downtown as the hospital. No drive to St Luke’s was measured from them or from any other lodging outside the twelve, so every distance ranking here covers the twelve New Leaf properties and no others.

How the distances were measured

St Luke’s is fixed at 42.5903 N, 114.4956 W, the point this site uses for the hospital at 801 Pole Line Rd W. Each property’s point is its street address, geocoded with the US Census geocoder and checked against OpenStreetMap Nominatim, which matched nine of the twelve. The straight line is the great-circle distance between them, rounded to a tenth of a mile.

The road and walking figures come from tfrooms.com, the New Leaf Properties booking site, which measured them address to address on 1 September 2026, drives on the public road network and walks on the pedestrian network. Drive times leave traffic out, so a trip at shift change can run longer. Walks assume about 2.8 miles an hour and run to the nearest pharmacy or coin laundromat.

What a week costs, and what that comes to a day

Nightly stays are temporarily paused so we can make room for guests staying a week or longer, up to 30 days. The minimum stay at all twelve is one week, seven nights, and every reservation is capped at 30 days. If you need only a night or two near the hospital, know that New Leaf rents by the week right now.

A single room is $250 a week, $35.71 a day, paid weekly. A double, two queen beds for up to four people, is $275 a week, $39.29 a day, paid weekly. A studio with a full kitchen is $325 a week, $46.43 a day, paid weekly. A single booked for up to 30 days is a flat $1,000, which is $33.33 a day if all 30 days are used. Rates are before 8% tax, and every property charges them for the rooms it offers.

When a discharge date keeps sliding, the week is easier to carry. You pay for seven nights at once, and a delay of a day or two inside that week adds nothing to the bill. None of the twelve asks for a lease, a credit check or an application fee. The deposit depends on the room: one week’s rent on newly renovated rooms, none on some others, so confirm it for the specific room.

Canyon Springs Extended Stay, Motel 6 Twin Falls and Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay showed weekly figures on their own websites when tfrooms.com read them on 2 September 2026: Canyon Springs as low as $295, Motel 6 $45 a night labeled as its weekly rate ($315 for seven nights), and Blue Lakes Inn $360 in page titles against $480 in the text. Of the four businesses in that reading that publish a weekly figure, ours included, the $250 single ($35.71 a day, paid weekly) was the lowest that day. Canyon Springs does not rent by the day or the night: its own FAQ offers weekly and monthly rentals only. Every New Leaf single and double is cheaper than its $295 week.

Picking a property for a hospital stay

Dunes Motel, 447 Addison Ave W, and Monterey Motor Inn beside it are 1.9 miles from the hospital in a straight line and 5 and 6 minutes on foot from a pharmacy. Both rent all three room types: a double for a family, a studio for anyone who cooks. Park Motel, on the same stretch, has a 7 minute pharmacy walk.

Old Towne Lodge, 248 2nd Ave W, is 2 minutes on foot from a pharmacy, the shortest walk of the twelve, and 2.6 miles from St Luke’s in a straight line. That helps when a prescription needs filling and nobody has the car. Downtown Extended Stay, 320 Main Ave S, is a 6 minute walk from one.

Travel nurses and visiting clinicians who cook between shifts can pick from the nine properties that rent a studio with a full kitchen. El Rancho Motel and Apollo Motor Inn rent singles and doubles only and have no guest laundry. Check-in is 3 PM, check-out 11 AM, and utilities, Wi-Fi and parking come with the rate.

The Kimberly Road corridor

Kimberly Road Extended Stay, 1827 Kimberly Rd, and Twin Falls Motel, 2152 Kimberly Rd, form the third New Leaf group. Both lie southeast of downtown and the hospital lies northwest of it, which puts them 3.7 and 4.0 miles from St Luke’s in a straight line and 9 and 10 minutes by road.

The nearest pharmacy is 33 minutes on foot from Kimberly Road Extended Stay, 27 from Twin Falls Motel, the two longest walks of the twelve. The nearest coin laundromats sit 29 and 39 minutes away, and Twin Falls Motel has no guest laundry. If you will be on foot most days, start with Addison Avenue or downtown, where the pharmacy walks run 2 to 14 minutes.

Twin Falls Motel rents singles only, at $250 a week, $35.71 a day paid weekly, and of the twelve it is the nearest to Shoshone Falls, 3.8 miles in a straight line. Kimberly Road Extended Stay rents all three room types, the studio included. With a car, either works for a hospital stay.

How to book or ask

This site, twinfallsroomsforrent.com, takes no bookings itself, but its chat button sends a message to the office. To book, use the property’s own site at its /reserve.html page, such as dunestf.com/reserve.html for Dunes Motel (all twelve are listed at tfrooms.com/locations.html), or tfrooms.com/contact, or call. Nothing is charged online. The sign at tfrooms.com/vacancy.html is set by hand to VACANCY or NO VACANCY; it is not a count of open rooms.

The office line, (208) 733-2010, is answered Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Twin Falls time, closed Sunday. After hours, calls forward to the on-call operator. Spanish is spoken at the office.

St Luke’s is worth mentioning when you call or write, with the room type you need, your likely arrival date and how many weeks you expect to stay. Ask what deposit applies to that room. If a pet is coming, say so: all twelve take pets with a refundable deposit and no pet fee, and service animals stay with no deposit and no fee.
